I haven't posted Friday OOTD because we are wearing our union shirts. Today is picture day, so I amped up the makeup and wore fun earrings despite the red and black shirt.

It's cold today and I only have this royal blue sweatshirt at work, so there it is.

I match the flag.

Still going through my whole closet in an effort to make sure I love it all. This top was one of my first purchases from the now defunct DYT Type 3 store. I have always adored the color, but the crewneck made it so that I didn't really reach for it. It also requires a layer underneath, so I don't really wear it so much on weekends.

But a woman in our little group showed us how to turn a crew into a v with a rubberband (gotta love those LLR ladies!) and I feel a whole different kind of way about it.

I also think my unknown secondary is rearing it's feisty little head.

I realized last night that my hair looks so much better when there is the lift that only hair wax can provide. Whether I spike it down the middle or to the side, I have to get that lift... into the air... into the sky!!

But yet I also chose color blocked clothing. I'm working through some stuff from being a kid to figure out my secondary, and how much of it was from my parents and how much of it is my own. It's still to be determined.

Keep it or Toss it Day 3.

I shy away from belts, unless they're holding up my pants. Belts as fashion accessory are not something with which I am comfortable, but this one was gifted to me and it feels far better than another belt I have.

Keep it or Toss It, Day 2. My lippy is all worn off.

I think this looks super duper in the picture, but there's something not right about the denim jacket. Maybe I need to change the color somehow. Otherwise, this combo looks spot on.

I did not do a large chunk of Back to School shopping this year, but nevertheless, looked into my closet and was overwhelmed by just how much is in there.

So this week is Keep it or Toss it week. 

I try this jacket every time I do this, and I can't part with it because I'm always cold at work and it looks moderately professional, but it just never feels RIGHT to me. I can't figure out what it is, but it's not a favorite of mine.

The green top is a winner, I think, and the pants are awesome though they do not fit me well.
